I was surprised to find this restaurant on Ctrip. I was going to spend the weekend at Kilronan Castle. I drove north from the southernmost part of the city. When I arrived at the castle, I found that the food was ridiculously expensive. A main course cost 60 euros, so I decided to go to the nearest restaurant to finish my meal. The restaurant has a strong incense smell, and the candles on the windowsill are genuine (almost set my coat on fire...). The service attitude cannot be said to be great, but it can only be said to be acceptable. Before the meal, the store gave us a homemade appetizer. It tasted like pear and watermelon juice with a few strawberry fruit particles (I didn't sing out what it was, and the people who were traveling with me said it was strawberry...). I took two sips of it in a shot glass with a small spoon and drank it all. It tasted cool and refreshing with a strong fruity flavor. The granular texture of the juice did not get stuck in my teeth. It was smooth and the taste stayed in my mouth for a long time. For starter, I ordered tempura with salad (8.5uro. The tempura was just OK, nothing much to say, but the sauce... It was parsley, onion, and raw mango, you can imagine the taste... If you said this was a salad, I would tolerate it, but the problem is that you wrote it as a sauce for tempura... I didn't quite get the chef's idea. It didn't go well with tempura. For the main course, I ordered grilled beef ribs with red wine sauce (20.5uro, which was really good. The beef ribs were about a bunch of meat, very Really good. The red wine sauce is average, and the aroma of nuts, spices and red wine bursts in your mouth with every bite. The bacon bits in the sauce are the finishing touch, and every time you eat it, it has a great salty flavor and a light smoky taste. It is simply a savior for those who hate mashed potatoes. The main cowboy ribs are first baked and then stewed, and the heat is really well controlled. Boneless, juicy, and tender. I am at a loss for words. I suggest that if it is on the menu that day, you must order it. Because of a day of fatigue, my appetite is not very good, so I didn’t order wine or dessert. If you order a set of starter main desert with wine, it costs about 40 euros per person. L1012 is a remote road, 20 minutes drive from the castle. It is not easy to drive on the road at night, but it is worth a try.
